Contracts Administrator

We are seeking a Contracts Administrator for our Austin office. Under general supervision, the Contract Administrator is responsible for managing all aspects of the customer contract lifecycle including the creation of new contracts, modifications to existing contracts, examination and analysis of contracts to support key business processes, documenting and storing various contract elements in the appropriate business systems, and the coordination of contracts between various internal teams including Sales, Legal, Finance, Billing, CSS, and Business Operations to resolve issues, and ensure accuracy and compliance with business policies.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage the contract process:
- Generate contract documents and work cross-functionally to manage deals, and help respond to customer feedback, through the entire contract process flow
- Serve as the point of contact for contractual matters; act as a liaison to the various teams, ensuring timely review and approval /reconciliation of issues
- Review details of approvals and confirm that contract information accurately follows the structure of the approved deal, including any special provisions
- Ensure that signed contracts are consistently communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness
- Maintain records and documentation on contract correspondence, contact information sheets, change orders, status reports and other documents
- Maintain historical files and administer the archival process
- Own the contracting tools, including understanding end user feedback and translating into business requirements
- Update and maintain current and new documentation related to our contracting system, including updating current content pages and documents, and creating new content pages
- Track and report on adherence to the contracting process; identify risks and recommend solutions
- Provide business and analytical support to reduce cycle time and contract errors
- Provide support for contract audit and compliance activities
- Provide Sales support to review proposed quotes; provide feedback to ensure compliance with published sales and business policies; escalate as needed based on policy and business judgment.
- Work with post-sale teams to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Who You Are:
- 2+ years professional experience, including a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent work experience, eCommerce experience preferred
- Experience in billing or accounting roles
- Experience in agreement management, deal desk, Account Management or operations roles at a technology firm
- Experience and Knowledge in contract negotiations and deal construction
- Experience with contracting tools and Salesforce.com
