Forcepoint is seeking a Contracts Manager to work in the corporate Legal department to support U.S. and international supplier and customer transactions.  This person will manage various functions within the department in support of the company’s business, and negotiate a variety of business and technology agreements.  Candidates should have experience working in a corporate legal or contracts department, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment supporting internal business clients, as well as dealing with vendors and customers.

 

Essential Functions

 

  • Review, prepare, and administer a diverse set of business related contracts including those needed for sales, corporate events, marketing functions, hotels, facilities, human resources, and IT
  • Interact with internal stakeholders and external customers to ensure contracts are concluded in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures
  • Review, identify issues, and negotiate the terms and conditions of various contracts, including professional services agreements, statements of work, NDAs, evaluation agreements, and marketing related agreements
  • General knowledge of contracts management and work flows

·Be a resource to the RFP/proposals team to provide content to questions

·Perform other duties and projects as assigned

 

Education and Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a corporate legal or contracts department with contracts administration experience

  • Strong writing skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines while producing high quality work
  • Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately
  • Be comfortable working independently and taking initiative when appropriate and adapting to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and be comfortable sharing knowledge, and accepting input from others
  • Able to grow and evolve within the organization and position to take on additional tasks and duties as necessary
  • Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment and be capable of handling sensitive materials and maintaining confidentiality

  • Technology transactions
  • In-bound and out-bound software licensing
  • Marketing review and support
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, Docusign, and Salesforce

We are located in the North Austin area by The Domain, off of Braker between Mopac and 183. Our office patio overlooks Quarry Lake.
