Impact:

Reporting to the General Counsel, the Corporate Paralegal will manage all administrative and operational functions for the Dosh Legal Department including: 

  • Support the day-to-day operations of the Legal Department, including drafting and sending out communications, records management, and providing administrative support to the Legal team.
  • Draft template contracts such as non-disclosure agreements and advertising insertion orders.
  • Work with the Dosh Sales Team to maintain accurate records in Salesforce, making sure that the deal details are consistent with what is reflected in the contracts. 
  • Partner with the Dosh IT and Engineering Teams on responding to merchant information security requests and attestations. 
  • Own Dosh’s corporate insurance portfolio and serve as the liaison with the Company’s insurance broker.
  • Create and maintain a deal room for diligence for times when the Company is involved in fundraising or M&A.
  • Liaise with outside counsel and investors on distributing and collecting deal documents, requesting signatures, and creating closing binders. 
  • Docket and track the company's intellectual property portfolio.
  • Provide project management services for all Legal projects and initiatives.

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years in-house and/or law firm experience in corporate practice area.
  • Experience with corporate fundraising preferred. 
  • Superb organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written (grammar, spelling, formatting) and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be extremely customer-service oriented with excellent communication. Able to build strong working relationships with various departments and outside partners.
  • Strong ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Self-starter who executes with urgency and is flexible to accept new and different challenges in a fast-paced and ever-changing startup environment.
  • Results-oriented, resourceful, problem-solver.
  • Familiarity with general corporate governance and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) or G Suite. 
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Paralegal certificate preferred.
