We are looking for an experienced legal mind to contribute to our impressive growth and help us expand the LawPay brand. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and experienced marketer, with a background as a practicing lawyer. As Brand Director, you will lead the integrated marketing plan for our LawPay brand and be accountable for brand awareness and demand generation, ensuring we provide quality leads to the sales team. This role is extremely collaborative with our channel, web, events, operations, and creative teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop annual and quarterly marketing plans to achieve company targets
- Manage all campaigns from beginning to end ensuring they meet sales objectives
- A/B test and pilot new tactics to continually improve effectiveness
- Work with the sales team to identify any sales enablement needs
- Co-management of marketing budget with Channel and Demand Gen teams
- Collaboration with indirect marketing channels including partners and member benefit programs
- Interpret and report campaign results to the organization, making adjustments as needed to maximize ROI
- Represent the LawPay brand as an industry expert to help promote our mission to transform the way professionals are paid
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or Law Degree
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the legal profession
- Brand Management experience in the professional services industry a plus
- Understanding of or ability to learn to work with key marketing automation technologies (Marketo, Salesforce, Wrike)
- Strong writing/editing experience with a focus on the legal industry
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate with the executive team
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, especially shared services that don’t have a direct reporting structure
- A big plus would be established credibility in the legal industry that could include working with state/local bars, the ABA, industry publications, and delivering CLE training.
