We are seeking a highly motivated team player to join our legal department. This person will work as a liaison between the Legal and HR departments and will play a key role in providing legal support related to immigration, Drillinginfo's intellectual property portfolio, and insurance coverage as well as other HR matters and Legal department responsibilities. Basic Performance Objectives
- Coordinate between outside counsel and employees regarding immigration matters
- Collaborate and align with Human Resources team on employment issues
- Manage intellectual property portfolio
- Communicate with brokers, customers, and internal stakeholders regarding insurance coverage
- Assist with other legal department matters as needed, including data privacy, vendor and customer procurement, and export compliance
Competitive Candidate Profile
- Experience working in a law firm as a paralegal or in employee relations
- Demonstrated experience and skills in legal research and writing (please provide writing sample)
- Attention to detail
- Experience searching for and pulling data from multiple sources
- Experience in document review and analysis
- Paralegal certification or willingness to complete company sponsored certification program
- Comfortable with cloud technology and SaaS
- Understanding of intellectual property laws and procedures
- Customer service mentality
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing obligations
