Why this role matters:

We are looking for a Marketing Data Scientist to synchronize our data intelligence with our strategic vision. You will play a pivotal role in refining our decision-making through advanced predictive analytics and  translating complex insights into a roadmap for growth. Your work will ensure we are not reacting to the market, but proactively shaping customer engagement through the power of data science.

Your key responsibilities:
  • Liaise with the data warehousing team to define and activate data set requirements.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to automate data collection and cleaning from various sources, including new ones.
  • Identify and correct data irregularities.
  • Synthesize disparate data sets to focus on predictive insights and repeatable success.
  • Build and deploy predictive models to inform growth strategies.
  • Apply machine learning models to anticipate consumer behavior.
  • Inform Marketing Mix Models (MMM) to reallocate budget for higher ROI.
  • Influence change across the organization by translating complex model outputs into 'business-speak'.

Required:

  • Proven experience in building, deploying, and monitoring predictive models to inform growth strategies and revenue optimization.
  • Deep expertise in using machine learning techniques to anticipate and model complex consumer behavior and journey analysis.
  • Familiarity with informing and leveraging Marketing Mix Models (MMM) to reallocate marketing budgets for higher ROI
  • Advanced proficiency in data manipulation and modeling languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI or similar)
  • Min 5+ years of related experience

Experience we consider a plus:

  • Experience in a B2B setting
  • Experience with customer lifetime value modeling
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing platforms and their underlying data structures
  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Economics.
