Cybercrime is rising, reaching record highs in 2023. According to the FBI's IC3 report total losses exceeded $12 billion. With investment fraud and BEC scams at the forefront, the message is clear: the real estate sector remains a lucrative target for cybercriminals. At CertifID, we take this threat seriously and provide a secure platform that verifies the identities of parties involved in transactions, authenticates wire transfer instructions, and detects potential fraud attempts. Our technology is designed to mitigate risks and ensure that every transaction is conducted with confidence and peace of mind.

We know we couldn’t take on this challenge without our incredible team. We have been recognized as one of the Best Startups to Work for in Austin, made the Inc. 5000 list, and won Best Culture by Purpose Jobs two years in a row. We are guided by our core values and our vision of a world without wire fraud. We offer a dynamic work environment where you can contribute to meaningful impact and be part of a team dedicated to enhancing security and fighting fraud.

The Marketing Operations Intern will work closely with the Marketing Operations team to improve data hygiene, enhance marketing-to-sales processes, and contribute to key operational improvements. You’ll gain hands-on experience with marketing automation (HubSpot), CRM data management (Salesforce), and campaign execution while working on projects that directly impact our go-to-market strategy.

This internship is ideal for students and early-career individuals interested in marketing technology, process improvement, and analytics who are eager to develop marketing automation, data organization, and project management skills.

What you'll do:

  • Deepen your HubSpot expertise by assisting with campaign execution and workflow automation.
  • Standardize and optimize marketing operations by improving naming conventions and documentation for workflows, landing pages, and campaign structures.
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy by cleaning up duplicate company records in HubSpot and Salesforce. Enhance marketing and sales alignment by refining lead handoff processes and identifying tangible improvements in key metrics.
  • Revamp the Operations Request Process, moving request tracking into Trello, working cross-functionally to identify necessary fields, and streamlining workflows.
  • Create clear, scalable process documentation in Confluence to support marketing execution best practices.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience or interest in data organization, marketing research, or process documentation (through coursework, internships, or personal projects).
  • Interest in marketing technology, CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce), or marketing automation.
  • Basic familiarity with Excel, Trello, or other project management or CRM tools (a plus, but not required).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a virtual team.
  • An urge to ask questions, listen, and propose solutions.
  • Eagerness to learn new things and help others do the same.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous internships or significant contributions in a team-based SaaS startup environment.
  • Experience with HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Previous experience in or exposure to the real estate industry.

Length: Approximately 12 weeks (Summer Internship).

This is a paid internship. The rate of pay will be $20/hr.

Location: In-office, Austin, TX. We are located on South Congress Avenue, 78704. Standard working hours will be 9-5, Monday-Friday.
