Affiliate Marketing Manager

Avail offers a software platform with a complete set of tools, guidance, and best in class educational content providing landlords with everything they need to be confident and professional.
The Role
Avail (Part of The Realtor.com Network) is seeking an experienced Affiliate Marketing Manager, you will manage and execute all marketing activities related to the affiliate channel. Partnering with affiliates is a high-growth opportunity at Avail that will give you the chance to create, experiment, and drive impact—quickly. You will also lead outbound communications that help earn coverage with media and other content partners. You’ll contribute guest content, coordinate marketing strategies with influencers, and setup and maintain business relationships. This is a fast-evolving, multi-faceted role. The opportunity for extremely fast growth is great, but it will require you to be up for the challenge. This position is part of the marketing team and reports directly to the Director of Marketing.
What will you do?
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain an exhaustive database of all industry media outlets, industry influencers, prospective partners, and existing partners
Establish business relationships with key affiliates and influencers to further awareness of the Avail brand
Monitor and report performance of affiliates and other key partners on a weekly and monthly basis
Collaborate with head of partnerships, head of product, and marketing director to execute key go-to-market objectives
Work to facilitate media appearances and features of executive leadership and Avail as a brand
Work with the marketing team in creating content and performing outreach to prospective content, affiliate, and media partners
Work to secure strategic backlinks to Avail educational content and feature pages
As Affiliate Marketing Manager, you’ll have the creative freedom to propose new ideas and strategies, but will also receive direct training and guidance from the Director of Marketing.

Requirements
- Have an attitude of “whatever it takes”
- Strong marketing strategy and project management skills
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrable ability to self-learn and to self-start projects
Intermediate Google Analytics proficiency
Basic knowledge of marketing attribution models and the buying cycle- Experience in campaign tracking and reporting up results
Proficiency working with affiliate networks and affiliate tracking tools
Persuasive copywriting skills for one to one business development and outreach
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
1-2 years experience managing an affiliate program as an affiliate or as program manager
1-2 years experience working in PR, media relations, and/or outreach marketing
Preferred:
- Passion for real estate investing, property management, landlording, or real estate in general
- Proficiency in managing projects using Airtable
Knowledge of basic marketing funnels
Familiarity with Tapfiliate for tracking affiliate performance
Proficient understanding of the importance of backlinks for SEO
Detailed understanding of the competitive landscape and trends of the proptech industry
Experience with the OKR framework
