Job description
ePayPolicy segments our customers into two sub-groups - SMB and Enterprise. Our larger enterprise customers have their own sales team, and a longer-cycle sales process more like large B2B deals. As such, we need an effective leader with account-based marketing (ABM) experience who can build and scale this critically important part of our business in partnership with the sales team.
This role would currently be a senior role on the marketing team, reporting to the VP Marketing.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Take ownership of, and generate strategy for, the B2B enterprise and ABM strategy for our enterprise sales targets
- Work collaboratively with the marketing team members to plan and run effective campaigns
- Demonstrate an ability to identify meaningful KPIs to track progress across the sales and marketing funnel
- Diligently work to understand our customer’s unique stories and needs. Demonstrate that you empathetically understand the customer’s problems and offer simple solutions.
- Understand and, at times, execute on a variety of campaign components, such as copywriting, campaign development, asset & ad creation, ad channel selection and management, etc.
- Build your own team of software and vendors, as needed, to support campaigns
- Work alongside the growing team and company to continually bring clarity to our products and brand, always focusing on the actual value we bring to customers
- Identify the most effective marketing messages, value proposition, materials, channels, and calls to action for personas and key accounts in the regions.
- Build then obsess over ABM metrics to ensure business impact measured by named account pipeline/bookings (sourced/influenced), database growth and accuracy for named accounts, account/person engagement scores and sales/partner utilization of programs.
- Manage project timelines, quality issues, resources, & budget.
You may be a good fit if:
- 5+ years of proven multi-channel B2B marketing experience within enterprise software/SaaS. Insurance experience a bonus, but not required.
- You are a proactive self-starter, demonstrating high initiative and critical thinking. Proven ability to think strategically, but with exceptional attention to detail in execution.
- Positive, can-do attitude, with the ability to work with marketing and sales professionals, and ability to prioritize numerous projects simultaneously.
- Experience building and delivering of field marketing campaigns, events, executive and key account programs and partner activity.
- Understanding of pipeline management and metrics.
- Demonstrated experience sourcing and overseeing vendors for marketing program execution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills a must. Strong influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Team player with ability to collaborate, and also work independently.
- Flexibility to adjust to the dynamic nature of a startup.
- Occasional domestic travel to support events - less than 10%.
- Experience with email automation / CRM, especially Salesforce / Pardot
Performance Indicators
- Average time to close for accounts within the ABM strategy in comparison to firmographic lookalike accounts, previous benchmarks
- Average deal size of closed won deals within the ABM strategy
- Account penetration: number of touchpoints to close
- Increased number of opportunities per company within the ABM strategy
- Percentage of MQL's that flip to SAO's
