Red Fan is looking to hire a rockstar marketing specialist to map marketing to the business goals of the agency and to drive the marketing strategy.  The ideal person for this role has experience in B2B marketing, is expected to be a self-starter, a confident writer and a strategist.  The career opportunity is strong for growing the marketing side of our business and working with clients as well.  

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Marketing Professional: You have 5+ years of professional experience creating thoughtful and purposeful integrated marketing content across channels, including social, email, newsletters, blogs and website copy. You’re excited about researching, producing and implementing solid public relations, marketing and thought leadership content for our agency and its president.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to quarterly and annual marketing strategy development, including target audience identification, channel growth, marketing themes, content strategy, campaigns and more. 
  • Design, implement and edit copy for company website, marketing and sales collateral, press releases, newsletter, bylines and blog content.
  • Create short videos and graphics for use in blogs, marketing ads and on social media.
  • Support regular reporting on strategic initiatives and tactical execution across channels, demonstrating audience growth and engagement and campaign effectiveness.
  • Implement all website content changes while keeping the site current with testimonials, case studies and refreshed content approved by senior leadership.
  • Work with senior leadership to implement and monitor Google Analytics metrics and markers for testing and campaign effectiveness when it comes to the website. Measure SEO regularly and take reports to heart for making smart changes.
  • Support HubSpot, ensuring that our outreach lists and tags are current and accurate and that the system’s campaigns are working as intended and opportunities for engagement with our audience are directed to the appropriate internal team member or to the president. 
  • Build and execute monthly social media calendars and campaigns. Oversee community management and social engagement with followers. Report monthly on social campaign progress, channel growth and social media’s efficacy in brand awareness and sales enablement initiatives. 
  • Research, complete and manage submissions for awards, conferences and speaking engagements that promote Red Fan to its target audience. 
  • Support third-party vendor management (e.g. website partner, paid media marketing partner, etc.) and agency partnerships (e.g. Austin Tech Council, Austin Chamber of Commerce, etc.).
  • Support up-to-date asset management, including infographics and presentation materials.
  • Oversee SEO/Google ad campaigns and make recommendations for changes while also engaging the team on how to improve content and impact.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in public relations, communications or marketing.
  • 5+ years experience building and executing strategic marketing campaigns and content.
  • Experience with CRM and website tools such as HubSpot and Squarespace.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • High attention to detail and strong work ethic.
  • Diligent editor and writer.
  • Knowledge of AP Style.
  • Proven team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace.
  • Working knowledge of traditional PR and communications services and B2B tech verticals (e.g. fintech, health tech, supply chain) preferred.
