Who You Are
Ontic is looking for an experienced and mission-driven Brand Programs Marketing Manager to join our brand and communications team. You will be responsible for developing, supporting and executing Ontic’s Brand marketing and internal/external communications strategy in partnership with subject matter experts across the organization. This role can be based at Ontic’s HQ in Austin, or remotely, reporting to the Director of Brand and Communications.
You will have the opportunity to develop, execute and optimize Ontic’s brand and communications strategy to build a new category and position Ontic as a leader.
As a critical member of the Marketing team, you’ll be expected to work closely with internal stakeholders including with marketing, partnerships, product teams, external clients and partners to bring Ontic’s brand narrative to life. You’ll contribute your knowledge, perspectives and capabilities to Ontic’s overall marketing and communications strategy, planning and execution.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal teams, external agencies and partners to propel the brand and communications programs forward, coordinating Ontic subject matter experts and spokespeople to drive meaningful narratives and media opportunities for maximum impact
- Support Ontic’s speaking and awards program to bolster awareness of company innovation, product and partner program excellence, customer success, thought leadership perspectives and workplace culture, among others
- Refine approach to media monitoring and social listening for share of voice, reputation issues, campaign impact and reporting
- Coordinate with outside agencies, partners and writers, manage timely strategic PR-led campaigns that showcase the company’s mission and values
- Support analyst relations plan and coordinate AR activities that include scheduling and staffing briefings, preparing presentations and spokespeople, counseling internal teams on messaging and sharing insights from reports
- Develop and own social and community strategy and execution to continuously engage our audience
- Measure and assess the performance of program activities inclusive of impressions, reach and sentiment and share of voice for Ontic to influence future strategy and programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of five years experience supporting and managing B2B Brand and/or Communications Programs in modern software businesses that align with multiple personas and stages of the buyer journey; security marketing/comms experience is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to think strategically, be creative while also making data-driven decisions
- Strong attention to detail while managing multiple, time-sensitive projects simultaneously
- Ability to work with all levels across the organization as well as with clients
- Excitement and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Bachelor’s degree required
