Rooster Teeth Games, a division of Austin based entertainment and media company Rooster Teeth, is looking for an experienced, charismatic Community Manager to make engaging content and provide marketing, community, and social media support for Rooster Teeth Games and its products. If you’re familiar with Rooster Teeth, understand passionate online communities, a gaming industry veteran, can write good copy, and understand video streaming platforms, get in touch. This position reports to the Director of Social and Community Marketing and will be an embedded marketing resource within the Games division.

Responsibilities:

• Engage daily with the Rooster Teeth community online and grow community around Rooster Teeth Games and its products
• Create a livestream presence for Rooster Teeth Games and become a face and voice that represents the division and its products
• Write copy and produce original social content (videos, GIFs, infographics, live video, imagery, etc) for Rooster Teeth Games social media channels
• Generate creative ideas for promotion of Rooster Teeth Games via social and community channels.
• Work closely with marketing department leads on strategy and planning for marketing campaigns.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years Experience in community and/or social media in the gaming industry
• High level understanding and experience with social media and streaming tools and platforms (i.e. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Twitch, Discord, Snapchat, YouTube, Tumblr, related third-party software, etc)
• Basic proficiency in Photoshop/photo editing and video editing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Rooster Teeth channels, shows, history, culture, and voice
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively
