Role Description

As a Content Marketing Manager, you will help expand DocSend brand reach, thought leadership, and research efforts through content. In this role, you will help discover and develop content for new audiences and industries with a keen eye of turning long-form content into smaller, digestible formats. The ideal candidate is a storyteller at heart and has the ability to see multiple angles, formats, and ways to tell a story so that it gets the eyeballs it deserves. This role reports to DocSend’s Content & Comms Lead and folds within DocSend Marketing which functions as its own startup within Dropbox. This role will work in close collaboration with teammates specializing in comms, SEO, social media, paid media, product marketing, and more. 

Responsibilities

  • Build brand trust and reach through thought leadership and advice-driven content for a variety of our key audiences 
  • Test and implement content frameworks for how new audiences want to learn from us and engage with us via content 
  • Manage our editorial calendar and cadence through a diversity of content formats and mediums 
  • Define DocSend’s voice and content strategy for newer verticals as well as in collaboration with our multi-product content strategy with Dropbox and HelloSign

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in B2B content marketing, communications, writing/editorial 
  • Ability to interview customers, executives, and SMEs to pull out a unique angle 
  • A creative mind that can turn a stale concept into an compelling story 
  • Ability to see and create derivative content from larger initiatives  
  • Analytical thinker who’s driven by the measurable impact of content 
  • Familiar with SEO and how to incorporate strategies to improve content performance 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Interpersonal skills to foster and maintain relationships with SMEs
  • Experience working for a fast-growing B2B SaaS company
