Bungalo is seeking an experienced Content Marketing Manager to oversee the planning, production, and implementation of content across all owned channels including web, app, digital ads, in-home, social media, and press.
This role is responsible for translating business decisions and new service offerings into customer-facing copy, imagery, and collateral that our customers will easily understand, find delightful, and take action on. This role takes a holistic view of all Bungalo touchpoints and uses content to guide customers along our home buying experience, and re-engages existing fans/subscribers with relevant messaging, eye-catching imagery, and action-driving campaigns.

Our ideal candidate is strategy-driven, organized, and fast-moving with a robust track record of successfully translating business decisions into content. He/she is experienced in and enjoys the creative process of bringing content plans to life collaborating with in-house and freelance co-workers. He/she is comfortable managing the creative process and consistently brings content to the finish line by publishing on owned marketing channels and by working with other departments to release content in-app, online, and IRL at our homes.

 

This role is a steward of the brand’s look, feel, and voice, and is responsible for its delivery to our customers and fans.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Translate business decisions & new service offerings into consumer-facing copy, imagery, and online/offline content experiences
  • Execute the creation of content for use in Bungalo’s performance marketing & brand marketing strategies
  • Translate go-to-market plans & marketing campaigns into briefs for our creative team to execute upon
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns across owned & shared channels, while upholding brand consistency and a delightful customer experience
  • Maintain the brand’s look & feel to ensure other departments and co-workers remain on-brand while tackling their objectives
  • Write copy for all consumer-facing Bungalo outlets, including website, app, digital ads, video scripts, in-home material, and email
  • Place & publish content on owned channels (blog, social, YouTube, LinkedIn), or in partnership with channel owners (web, app, email, digital ads, field marketing)
  • Translate Bungalo’s brand calendar into actionable briefs for our creative team and manage their on-time delivery & publishing
  • Take advantage of timely, relevant happenings with quick-turn creative executions that align with brand and business objectives
  • Ideate and present new content opportunities (customer generated, partnerships, events) and run tests to question assumptions and take advantage of new channel opportunities
  • Devise and track content KPI’s in collaboration with channel owners and analyze performance for continued improvement in driving channel objectives
  • Identify opportunities, recommend optimizations, and adjust content strategy based on channel analytics, sales data, and team feedback

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in content development, ideally for consumer-facing brands
  • Passion for content marketing and ahead of the curve in terms of learning about new channels, advertising strategies, and lead generation tactics
  • T-shaped individual with deep skills in copywriting, but also graced with the professional skills of project management, collaboration, leadership, and ownership of results
  • Experience working on cross-functional campaigns with touchpoints online, in-person, in-app, email, paid ads, and social
  • Highly organized with an ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize activity based on impact and new business information
  • Self-starter who is willing to roll up sleeves and do what it takes to execute plans
  • High team and individual work standards; extremely high attention to detail
  • Adobe Creative Suite or Sketch skills a plus
