 What is the opportunity?

The Demand Gen Specialist is responsible for the analysis and optimization of all digital marketing channels at GoDaddy. This role provides direction and assists the implementation of each of the following: campaign creation, digital and social media strategy and account management, SEM, SEO, email marketing, and landing page creation and maintenance. Our Demand Gen Specialist will also be involved in the development and enhancement of the company’s websites, online marketing tools and other digital assets.

  • Campaign creation for webinars and email programs using Marketo templates -- cloning campaigns, smart lists, and flows.
  • Research and recommend additional strategies to maximize integrated marketing campaign results.
  • Search & e-mail channel reporting, results, recommendations:
    • Website
    • SEM/PPC
    • Landing pages
    • Creative optimization
  • Analyze and interpret company web metrics and analytics to identify trends and areas of focus in on-line traffic metrics, traffic sources, geographic markers, device usage, browser usage, etc.
  • Manage IO process for email campaigns with publications.
  • Maximize online exposure through both organic and paid search
  • Develop new strategies for testing, bidding and organization of account structure
  • Create external and internal content strategies and implementation
  • Interact with internal copywriters and designers in creation of marketing collateral (ex: ebooks, webinar copy, etc.)
  • Audit, develop, generate and analyze SEO and SEM performance and strategies via site and search traffic analysis reporting
  • Ensure a rapid pace of testing for advertising channels with the ability to define, measure and identify successful tests and scale these programs
  • Salesforce lead support (cleaning, assigning, etc.)
  • Manage digital ad operations (tagging, trafficking, data collection)

What will it take to succeed?

  • 1-2 years of experience in digital advertising marketing
  • At least 1 year of direct Marketo experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required - preferably in marketing, economics, business or a similar field
  • Ability to implement and understand marketing analytics and apply findings to campaigns
  • SEM/SEO/Display/email marketing background
  • Test & learn background with the ability to deep dive into performance data on a daily basis, drawing conclusions and making optimization recommendations
  • Highly analytical, focused on informing performance optimization based on gathering and examining data from multiple sources
  • Willingness to learn new things
  • Bonus points for:
    • Prior experience with Salesforce, Marketo, HTML/CSS, Photoshop
    • Familiarity with the Local/SMB space
    • Experience directly involved with email campaign execution, list analysis and segmentation, A/B testing, marketing automation, and building lead nurture campaigns.
