Facebook is looking for an experienced leader to build and evolve our end-to-end webinar practice for Global Business Marketing (GBM). The ideal candidate is a bold, multi-faceted and innovative digital leader with a strong background in content, technology, operations, systems and tools integrations, and analytics. This individual will manage our business marketing webinar offering like a product manager. This individual is not afraid to think big and is also willing to roll up their sleeves to get the work done. This individual has effective presentation skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing demands. This individual has a positive, team-focused attitude toward digital marketing and technology. This individual thrives in a technical marketing environment and has a passion for making the world more open and connected.


Digital Strategy Manager, Webinars & Virtual Events Responsibilities

  • Develop a world-class webinar and virtual event practice for Facebook for Business

  • Create long-term product/technical vision and strategy for webinars & virtual experiences

  • Understand and define webinar use cases and content types

  • Define technical requirements for feature, product, and platform development

  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to bring the experience to life

  • Develop webinar and virtual event best practices

  • Evangelise and liaise with Sales, Marketing, and Education teams on webinar guidelines and best practices

  • Work with the cross-functional team on go-to-market strategy and approach

  • Successfully enable and deliver global webinars and virtual experiences

  • Define success metrics and track success of webinars

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a technical or marketing field

    • 12+ years of related experience

    • 5+ years of product management experience in enterprise or consumer software

    • Experience managing the entire product life cycle

    • 2+ years experience working with webinar and virtual event technologies

    • 2+ years experience in digital marketing

    • Experience architecting digital marketing solution, specifically including email marketing and other demand generation practices used for virtual event promotion

    • Experience managing and growing teams and individuals

    • Experience managing large groups of cross-functional stakeholders

    • Experience taking complex issues and making them simple to understand

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Experience in marketing automation products

      • 8+ years experience working with webinar or virtual event technologies

      • Experience in UX/UI and creating mockups and concepts
