We are looking for a Director of Demand Generation to accelerate growth for our demand generation activities across all channels. In this role, you will help grow business by driving and nurturing inbound digital marketing leads and by leading and managing a sophisticated lead qualification process.
You will develop, manage and support the end-to-end acquisition strategy to drive quality leads for our sales organization through thoughtful, optimized programs across all digital media channels. You will be responsible for inbound lead development with a focus on making demand generation programs and their execution a success. This includes qualifying and guiding leads to the sales team and providing them with the tools necessary to close new business.
This role is highly collaborative, requiring proactive and frequent communication with product and sales. The qualified candidate must be an energetic, enthusiastic and communicative self-starter, with proven sales and marketing experience.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage and continuously refine our demand generation model to provide visibility to the business on pipeline forecast by channel and campaign, considering channel velocity, conversion, and campaign costs.
- Generate qualified leads across existing and new sources and channels and improve conversions to opportunities.
- Provide direction on compelling, targeted marketing campaigns that successfully engage entrepreneurs and businesses, generate and accelerate pipeline/opportunities.
- Work closely with the marketing team to incorporate content, SEO/SEM, social, website, events, and more, into cohesive integrated campaigns.
- Own and manage our marketing automation, paid advertising and SEO resources. Create and maintain metrics on campaign effectiveness and business impact and generate insights from the data to continuously improve campaign strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or work equivalent
- 5-7+ years of experience in marketing strategy and execution
- 3 years working in demand generation
- 2 years working directly with or as a part of a sales team
- Ability to track and manage leads in Salesforce, Sugar or other CRM tools
- Knowledge and experience with marketing automation tools and features/functionality
- Knowledge of growth marketing and hacking strategies
- Excellent networking and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and decision-making skills
- A proactive, self-directed approach and the ability to learn quickly with limited instructions
- A high sense of urgency, strong initiative and the ability to multi-task
