Responsibilities & Requirements
As the Director Marketing Operations, you will focus on the strategy, design, execution and operations of Bonterra's lead management processes, marketing databases, and marketing automation solutions. The Director Marketing Operations is agile and has a passion for data, metrics, and reporting. The Director Marketing Operations also excels in operations that facilitate scalability, predictability, and efficiency of marketing operations. This role requires constant collaboration with various teams across the business including Revenue Operations, Revenue Reporting, Revenue Systems, and the Demand Marketing organization.
This is an engaging and hands-on role and the Director Marketing Operations, reporting to the SVP of Demand Marketing, is an individual who excels while operating at the strategic and the tactical level.
What You'll Do:
- Build and lead a team of seasoned marketing ops professionals managing the marketing technology stack and executing brand awareness and demand generation campaigns
- Analyze data and historical trends to provide early insights into best practices and new trends that support data quality across marketing metrics and operations
- Responsible for the management of ongoing key marketing systems such as Marketo, Drift, Zoom Webinar, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and others while leading integrations with the Sales and Sales Operations teams
- Plays an active role in the enhancement of all marketing operations to facilitate and optimize effective lead generation, nurturing, and implementation
- Develops and drives marketing database strategies and execution in relation to growth, segmentation, data cleanliness and completeness
- Plays a critical role in proper management of marketing alignment initiatives and processes that will support exceptional lead management, enhanced data quality, and improved lead quality
- Manages all marketing operations programs for both customers and prospects with the focus of enabling efficient lead scoring, campaign tracking, lead management, database health, targeting, segmentation strategies, and alignment with sales initiatives to build pipeline and enhance the client experience
- Responsible for the management of day-to-day campaign activities, reporting from basic campaign tracking to attribution models
- Provides ad-hoc analyses and insights on all ongoing marketing activities
- Prepares and presents key marketing insights and data on relevant marketing operations to senior leadership
Requirements:
- Expert level knowledge of Marketing Automation (Marketo preferred) and Salesforce.com
- 7-10 years' experience at mid-large companies (400+ employees)
- Management experience (3-5 years)
