About the opportunity

Are you a process-driven marketer who enjoys deep dives into data? Are you constantly looking for ways to improve systems and workflows? As the Director, Marketing Operations, you will play a critical role in optimizing our processes and systems and understanding our data to help us make better, faster, smarter decisions. The position will take on a lead role in optimizing our systems to achieve our goals, while continuing to grow your practical skills in data analysis.

What You'll Be Doing 

  • Define the Marketing Operations vision and strategy in alignment with the business growth needs
  • Build out a marketing technology roadmap that brings new innovations, capabilities and insights to our global marketing team
  • Ensure effective and efficient use of our marketing automation and CRM systems; establish, manage and develop governance to ensure standards are met for data inputs
  • Develop a data-driven lead scoring model helping to prioritize the leads that have the highest propensity buy and to trigger automated nurture campaigns as appropriate
  • Partner with the Demand Generation, BDR, Sales and CS teams in lead funnel management; lead management, stage conversion, pipeline health, and segmentation strategies, ensuring data quality at scale
  • Ensure processes are streamlined, designed, documented, and followed in a way that minimizes bad or incomplete data
  • Develop and manage our database strategy including data health and hygiene, segmentation, lead management process, database analysis and acquisition
  • Work with technology and business stakeholders to define the requirements for new marketing automation and marketing technology features 
  • Design, test, and deploy marketing performance dashboards that enable marketing leadership and individual marketing team members to focus on the metrics that matter and drive engagement and conversions
  • Own the relationship, management and budget of our marketing technology vendors 
  • Work together with technology team to manage or implement any integrations between the marketing automation platform and any third-party marketing technologies 
  • Implement and administer new marketing tools and technologies to improve marketing performance

What You'll Need To Succeed 

  • Expert in marketing operations and/or relevant experience integrating and supporting business processes with a subset being in a management role 
  • Very strong experience with a major marketing automation platform such as Hubspot. (Certification is a plus) 
  • Strong experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud CRM 
  • Experience managing a team, preferably global/remote
  • Experience with a sales analytics platform such as SF Einstein Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or other 
  • Proven ability to navigate within an organization and effectively leverage and interact with various teams
  • Experience bringing a marketing operations team from startup to scale up

Location

Our beautiful office sits in a quiet residential area of east Austin just off 7th street. There are some great places to eat within walking distance and plenty of parking should you choose to drive to the office.
