We need someone who has a passion for and understanding of direct response channels, specifically, but not limited to, television. Additional channels of interest include: radio, podcast, email, web, social media, search, display and mobile marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with a variety of commercial clients to assess their needs and develop customer acquisition strategies that integrate with their overall marketing strategy. The position requires strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects. 

Responsibilities

  • lient Management – teamed with a Senior Director and/or PM, managing client expectations and making persuasive arguments for campaign recommendations. 
  • Vendor Management – simultaneously oversee and direct traditional media agencies and/or podcast entities. 
  • Organizational Agility – ability to work with strong internal leaders with frequently competing schedules. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment – must be able to balance a lot of parallel priorities, manage time effectively, maintain a strong attention to detail, etc. 
  • Self-starter – must be self-motivated and able to complete tasks with the resources at hand. 
  • Create annual direct response budgets for commercial clients. 
  • Maintain and manage project timelines, both internally and externally with vendor agencies and the client. 
  • Aid in development of strategic, performance-driven media plans. 
  • Continually refine media strategy/testing plan/segmentation approach and budget. 
  • With guidance from Manager, present campaign media strategy and plan to client. 
  • Coordinate with 3rd party vendor media trafficking team, on behalf of client, to ensure timely delivery for execution. 
  • Track campaign performance across various metrics and media segments. 

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience managing a demand gen, acquisition, or offline media management 
  • Experience working at TV/Radio media agency 
  • Understanding of both planning and buying methodologies of traditional (TV, Radio) and emerging media (CTV, Podcast) 
  • Experience working web and call center reporting is a plus. 
  • Experience Project Management tools (Asana, Basecamp, ClickUp).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and drive complex projects to success 
  • Ability to anticipate the needs of the team, with strong attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly 
  • Ability to build and sustain highly collaborative work relationships 
  • SaaS and Global experience a plus. 
  • Strong communication skills (interpersonal, written and verbal)

Our headquarters is located in Austin, Tx at the address listed. The majority of our roles are flexible hybrid for employees who live within the cities where we have offices and remote for employees who are not located in those cities.
