Director, Paid Media
Saatva launched in 2011 and we are still growing rapidly, pacing above 50% YOY. We’re looking for a bright, passionate, and hardworking Director of Paid Media to drive our paid acquisition efforts, managing a team of three. This role will report to our VP, Marketing.

You’re the right person for this role if you are:
- Excited to build and execute an end-to-end Paid media strategy for existing and future product lines, across text, shopping, paid social, and programmatic display.
- A player / coach. You are as comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get the job done as you are providing direction and delegation to our internal team.
- Heavily focused on hitting CPA and ROI goals while being mindful of our brand and user experience.
- Ruthlessly analytical. You are capable of automating campaigns, optimizing our bidding strategy across millions of keywords and audiences, driving strong performance.
- Thoughtful about each step of the funnel, leveraging copy, targeting, and landing pages to drive conversions at scale.
- A self-starter with a strong work ethic; willing to work hard and sometimes long hours to get the job done.
- Able to excel in an unstructured environment and can turn an ill-defined idea into a structured project you can execute on.
- A fast learner who can pivot quickly. You will run tests, talk to users, analyze feedback, and integrate learnings into each subsequent campaign.
- Able to successfully juggle multiple initiatives and prioritize work effectively while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Paid media is a pivotal channel for Saatva. You will own our paid media efforts from start to finish to maximize ROI and growth goals.
- Create, categorize, and refine campaigns, ad groups, keywords, audiences, and creative to produce a comprehensive cross-channel paid media strategy that drives qualified traffic and purchases.
- Provide strategic and tactical direction to our internal team of 4+ individuals. This includes creating career roadmaps for direct reports, training, and mentorship.
- Create and manage campaign roadmaps for strategic initiatives, tests, increasing efficiency and reducing technical debt.
- Ideate and create custom landing page variations to improve conversion and optimize user experience with search ads.
- Analyze and optimize paid media performance by leveraging customer data and transaction history and turn insights into recommendations for improving our search strategy.
- Continually test and learn. Work with the team to create hypotheses, structure smart tests, and advance initiatives that work.
- Stay attuned to the latest betas and changes in the search landscape and ensure we are implementing industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of paid media (Google Ads, Bing Ads, Yahoo, Youtube, Facebook, Pinterest, Snap, etc.) experience. Additional digital channel experiences is a plus.
- Expertise managing and executing on paid media campaigns, preferably for an e-commerce or tech company.
- Deep familiarity with Google Marketing Platform. SQL and Heap are a plus.
- Strong expertise in experimentation, including test design structure, measurement, and when and how to optimize vs. take a big swing.
