What You'll Do

Sprinklr is looking for a driven leader to manage all website-related initiatives. Reporting to the VP of Content, Web and Creative Services within Marketing, the Director of Website Initiatives will play a pivotal role in developing and optimizing Sprinklr’s web properties to reflect our market-leading position, drive organic traffic, maximize visitor engagement, and optimize lead conversions. S/he will understand what best-in-class B2B websites look like, and will own the roadmap for Sprinklr to meet and exceed those standards.  The ideal candidate will have a data-driven, iterative, customer-centric approach to continual improvement of user experience and site performance.  The Director of Website Initiatives will lead a cross-functional team of project managers, designers, and engineers.

In addition to having an innovative yet methodical mindset, an obsession for understanding what performs best and why, and an ability to juggle a high volume of projects, the Website Director will be a key team player, collaborating extensively across both Marketing—including creative services, content, demand generation, and product marketing—and company-wide engineering, product, and design teams.

What You Will be Responsible for

  • Understand what best-in-class websites looks like for both SaaS companies and category creators, and bring your vision to help Sprinklr meet and exceed the standard of excellence.
  • Lead the creation of annual and quarterly website roadmaps that align with the overarching web strategy as well as business objectives and revenue goals, and manage the scoping process to identify level-of-effort and set aggressive but realistic timelines for all initiatives.
  • Manage both direct and dotted line team members—including a project manager; web development team; and web designers—and ongoing collaboration between the web, engineering, product, and creative strategy groups.
  • Optimize the website for lead and demand generation, continually driving higher performance by understanding evolving best practices; using heat map and behavioral analytics tools; collaborating with the demand generation team; and supporting rapid experimentation of design, content, and other web components.
  • Understand our SEO goals and strategy, and partner with internal and external SEO expertise to ensure that the website is fully optimized, and to continually assess for improvement opportunities.
  • Build an understanding of Sprinklr’s priority vertical and persona targets, along with primary business use cases, and help create a web experience that progressively engages them.
  • Understand the current technology stack as it relates to the web, and recommend additional tools needed to optimize traffic acquisition, user experience, lead conversion and more.
  • Own the relationship with Contentful, managing subscription and professional services needs; keeping pace with new features; and ensuring that we are fully utilizing all relevant functionality.
  • Help optimize the Contentful platform and related processes for content developers—and collaborate with Operations on integrations between Contentful and Sprinklr’s internal platform—to ensure efficiencies and quick time-to-publish cycles that support high-volume content production.
  • Manage localized language domains, including the translation vendor-Contentful integration and the publication workflows.
  • Live by a set of core analytics that reflect the health and performance of the sites; understand industry benchmarks; and continually drive improved performance.
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedure documentation for all key processes, and ensure that SOPs are consistently followed.
  • Be an inspirational leader, driving your team to push creative boundaries and distinguish Sprinklr by its web presence, while delivering projects on time and at scale.

Who You Are and What Makes You Qualified

  • 10-15 years managing corporate websites, with at least 5 of those in B2B environments; SaaS company experience preferred.
  • At least 5 years’ experience managing people, with some experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Creative, enthusiastic, customer-focused, and metrics-driven.
  • Expertise in website technology, development, and best practices; information architecture and user experience; Google tools including Analytics, Tag Manager, and Search Console; and additional analytics tools such as Hotjar.
  • Experience with headless CMSs required; experience with Contentful is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills with an ability to work against tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
