What you will do when you get here

Shipwell is looking for a seasoned Email & Marketing Automation Manager, responsible for building and executing a robust email and automated marketing program to engage new prospects and nurture those that are already in the sales pipeline. In this cross-functional role, you will report to the Director of Demand Generation while working closely with other members of the marketing and sales teams.


  • Manage end-to-end development, implementation and execution of lifecycle marketing initiatives, identifying opportunities across the customer journey, creating personalized and automated flows at key trigger points for core customer personas
  • Coordinate development of impactful content and emails along the journey, partnering with the creative and broader marketing teams, leveraging comprehensive content and creative briefs to drive alignment and inform execution
  • Develop email templates and user flows that align with the needs of each campaign
  • Review and edit email content as needed to align with B2B email best practices
  • Set up rule & automation based flows, monitor and deploy lead ingestion & sync between email platform & CRM to enable seamless transition between marketing and sales touch points across the funnel
  • Establish performance metrics, measurement, and reports that allow you to analyze and share campaign results, learnings, and identified opportunities for improvement


What you need to have

  • 5+ years experience in email & marketing automation, B2B SaaS product using major email platforms like Pardot, Marketo, or MailChimp
  • Strong technical skills including ability to create dynamic lists, build journeys and split paths based on rules, and basic understanding of HTML & CSS to develop new template
  • Strong analytics, testing, and experimentation skills to inform data driven marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Ability to outline email content and strategy for various target audiences across industries, verticals, and job functions
  • Deep understanding of email marketing best practices, including content, layout, send times, segmentation, etc
  • Excellent project management and collaboration capabilities, managing initiatives from ideation to execution and optimization


What’s preferred

  • Experience with Pardot & SalesForce is a plus
  • Understanding of lead and data coordination with CRM systems and other data sources
  • Experience in B2B SaaS or technology related products
  • Coordination with relevant external lead

---The Salary Range for this role is between $100,000 - $120,000 based on Years of Experience, Skillset, and Location.
