Email Marketing Specialist
The Role:
The Email Marketing Specialist will introduce AlertMedia to a wide variety of prospective customers via thoughtful, measured, and professional email campaigns while analyzing data to understand how to approach these campaigns behind the scenes. We’re grateful for the opportunity to evangelize how we can help organizations communicate during critical events, and this team member will assist in establishing those conversations, setting the stage for our sales leaders to identify and solve real communication challenges.

You are analytical and a critical thinker. You have experience in and are comfortable working with large data sets. You would consider yourself a pro at Excel and are able to provide examples of how you've used data in the past to make important decisions. You are interested in marketing as a career path and are excited to learn how a highly functioning B2B marketing organization operates.

What you will do:
- Manage all email campaigns, including data pulls, sequence creation, execution, testing, optimization, and follow-up
- Study and analyze every step of the buyer journey, matching each step with systematic, planned email campaigns that educate the buyer and advance the sales cycle
- Monitor email campaigns closely, performing routing data maintenance, quality control, and refreshed messaging
- Partner closely with Sales and Operations on the execution of all email campaigns, ensuring fluid campaign delivery, tracking, and execution
- Work with marketing team to grow our prospect database, and minimize list decay and unsubscribes while increasing the productivity of our email sends
- Use data to constantly analyze, diagnose, and measure performance against expectations
- Make data-driven recommendations to heighten campaign success; suggest and implement additional strategies to assist sales in creating more opportunities
- Monitor and report on all individual and group metrics, including weekly volume, open rates, reply rates, call volume, call connection rates, and opportunities created.
- Support sales, via help with other Marketing functions, to perfect outbound messaging during the entire buyer journey
Requirements:
- 1+ years’ of related experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS organization
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, and ability to make sound, data-driven decisions
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders – both internal and external – to successfully deliver on programs and campaigns
- Committed to excellence, striving for perfection, yet not afraid to make mistakes
- Incredible communicator, with an ability to influence and compel through a confident and credible delivery
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment, while working across sometimes diverse teams
- Extremely comfortable working with automated tools, including marketing and sales automation
- A love of learning, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work outside of job description to achieve team and organization goals
- Ability to test methodically and support conclusions with data
- Must be located in the Austin, TX area or willing to relocate
