About The Role

We’re looking for an email marketer to focus on registration and onboarding. You will be responsible for helping our users get the most value out of our products and building a positive relationship with our brand. You will bring your experience in email writing to drive activation and deliver measurable business impact. You will use your understanding of our audience and product to tailor these experiences to each segment.

Embedded within a cross-functional growth team, you will work closely with product, developer relations, data science, product marketing, and marketing operations to develop lifecycle marketing campaigns focused on the entire end-to-end user journey.

As an Email Marketing Manager you will:

  • Lead the execution of marketing emails, including monthly newsletter, product announcements, and nurture emails
  • Build and optimize segmentation and email content personalization strategies by leveraging user behavior/intent, activity data, industry, and demographics
  • Conduct and ideate ongoing A/B tests to improve overall email performance and paid tier conversions
  • Find opportunities to increase the registration-to-paid conversion
  • Work with marketing, product, and analytics team to build and execute campaigns across emails
  • Be responsible for performance against key top-line business critical metrics including growing paid tier activation and improving retention
  • Project manage across analytics, product, and marketing to meet fast-paced schedules while ensuring quality

About you

  • You have a bachelor’s degree
  • 3 - 5 years validated experience developing email marketing programs
  • Ability to write effective on-brand copy is a necessity, together with meticulous attention to detail
  • Creative and insightful problem solver; you care deeply about our users and can build detailed targeting as well as fabulous, on-brand experiences for them
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in measuring success of email campaigns
  • Demonstrated track record in developing and executing A/B tests, analyzing and translating data into business and consumer insights
  • Strong results orientation, proven record performing to bold growth targets
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, specifically with product, data science, and marketing operations
  • Flexibility & ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Experience with Eloqua and Salesforce a plus
  • Past experience in marketing to developers is a plus
