Employee Community Manager

Our Business Systems team is looking for an Employee Community Manager to join our US based team. As the Employee Community Manager, you’ll ensure that Khoros employees have access to the information they need to know to do their jobs successfully. You’ll work across the business with multiple teams to help them determine their information sharing goals and work closely with our community admins and team to ensure that the internal community is configured for successful outcomes. You'll have an integral part in managing employee communication across various business units while providing support and guidance to assist employees and content owners to use our internal tools successfully.

Responsibilities
Employee Communication & Community Moderation (60%)
- Be the voice and employee interface to the Community and broader communications
- Partner to develop systems and processes for coordination of internal communications based on best practices.
- Support in implementation and execution of internal communication programs, including newsletters, emails and slack announcements to culminate in the appropriate landing pages
- Maintenance of the employee Community to improve employee engagement
- Curate and highlight useful content through various channels for ease of access and increased usability
- Basic research and preparation of communication materials for publication
Employee Community Education & Navigation (25%)
- Identify, cultivate and manage relationships with super users and advocates
- Partner to develop new employee onboarding walk throughs for a strong onboarding experience
- Develop employee training materials related to Community and content
- Partner with and educate employees on the best use of Community and other resources (Slack, Drive, et al)
- Solicit, gather, evaluate, and implement user feedback to optimize the community experience
Employee Community Strategy (15%)
- Participate in developing the community strategy and roadmap and define goals to support business objectives
- Prepare reports with qualitative and quantitative data, insights and analytics to communicate trends and the value of the employee community to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism or related field
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrated ability to work with community tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a distributed, team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Bonus points for having worked as an internal community manager using Lithium (now Khoros) communities or similar solutions.
This role is budgeted in the $65,000 - $70,000 base salary range. Salary will ultimately be based on a candidate’s experience and external market factors.
