The Enterprise Marketing Manager position will allow you to drive the marketing strategy for accelerating customer engagement, expansion, and retention for our valued prospects and customers. Developing a deep understanding of our customer and partner needs, you will identify our greatest areas of opportunity for growth by adopting new customers and expanding existing customers. Your job will be identifying the ideal customer, message and strategy to achieve accelerated growth among the enterprise market segment.

Partnering with Product Marketing teams you will develop highly targeted content and programs that maximize and extend our product messaging to reach specific industry vertical and persona use cases. You’ll then work with Campaign Management, Creative and Corporate Marketing teams to develop and execute your integrated marketing strategy.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Marketing, you will be part analyst, strategist, creator and activator. You will utilize your analytical and strategic skills to identify revenue-driving opportunities in reporting metrics to drive net-new revenue, grow existing accounts and inspire retention.

Your ideal background includes experience in enterprise B2B marketing, having worked on segment or persona-specific campaigns and develop strategy for small to large scale programs.

The day to day.

  • Collaborate with Marketing (Campaign Managers, Paid Media Team, Communications), Enterprise Sales and Customer Experience (CX) to evaluate, plan, execute high-impact targeted customer marketing programs that expand and retain customers.

  • Work closely with CX and account management teams to build retention and expansion programs and an enterprise customer community of loyal brand advocates through engagement events, advocacy initiatives and personal, one-to-one programs.

  • Establish a feedback loop on customer needs with Product Marketing to ensure accurate and differentiated market positioning that is meaningful to target personas. 

  • Identify, target and message personas with strategic customer accounts.

  • Collaborate with the Demand Generation team to execute and measure account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns, leading the creative brief and key messaging that guides content creation.

  • Develop customer-centric communications strategies and compelling content to elevate the customer journey and engage customers in WP Engine news, initiatives, product launches, and events.

  • Work with Campaign/Marketing Ops on email experiments and engagement strategies at different lifecycle stages.

  • Discover Enterprise success stories and proof points, find opportunities and secure customer advocates to showcase business benefits and outcomes.

  • Identify measurable growth metrics (upsell, cross-sell, churn) for your lifecycle programs that you test, scale and report regularly to senior management. 

Your skills and expertise.

  • BA or BS required. MBA is a plus.

  • 3-5 years of relevant customer marketing management experience, preferably at a B2B technology company.

  • Proficiency in strategic storytelling, planning and execution via PPT/Google Slide/Keynote presentations

  • Demonstrates consistent success at planning and executing small- to large-scale programs.

  • Highly-effective communicator and collaborator across teams and subject areas. 

  • High degree of resourcefulness and energy, coupled with the ability to project manage and prioritize multiple initiatives to take them to successful completion.

  • Ability to translate technical concepts into strategic and inspirational creative messages and activations.

Bonus points.

  • Experience with digital experience platforms, web content management systems, headless CMS, and/or API-first content platforms.
