Event Coordinator

Reporting to the marketing manager, the event coordinator is responsible for planning, budgeting, coordinating and leading on all things relevant towards strategic events for RigUp. From regional based community gatherings to ground-breaking user conferences, the event coordinator will support various teams as well as personally lead company-wide initiatives on executing RigUp events.
You'll work with a cross-functional team comprised of Marketing, Sales, & Success to plan and execute on a variety of events. You’re goals will be to raise brand awareness, increase lead generation, drive NPS and enable various teams across the organization in the field.
What You'll Do
- Plan, organize, promote, facilitate and coordinate different types of 3rd party and RigUp events
- Monitor and coordinate the timeline of events
- Prepare event reports & budgets
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the event vendors including hotels, catering, staffing personnel as well as subcontractors
- Provide guidance and information pertaining to events to the internal clients
- Preparation of event contracts as well as ensuring that all contractual obligations are met
- Ensure that quality client/customer standards are upheld at all times
- Scheduling of logistics, travel, catering, hotel reservations and AV
- Support the sales and field sales team on our unified event and field marketing strategy
- Represent and evangelize RigUp at industry conferences, trade shows, and internal events
- Identify new opportunities to sponsor events that are aligned with RigUp's brand values and customer audience
