The Role
We are looking for a driven individual who is lives and breathes for building brand experiences and driving revenue through event management. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with and project manage key internal partners in the event creation and roll out process.
- Work on event setup in a timely manner ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage execution of conferences and meetings of varying sizes including content generation, tracking and scheduling, attendee registration and management, vendor management, and overall logistics/planning on conference/meeting agenda
- Develop strategic event plans inclusive of goals, objectives and touch points
- Work Closely with Demand Generation Team and Develop Event Strategy to Drive Funnel Movement
- Support both virtual & in-person events
- Support Large Global Events (Gartner EMEA, Gartner USA, LogiPharma Europe, etc.) and local events (GSX, HDA, PCSC, etc.)
- Support lead generation
- Create brand awareness
- Create marketing and email campaigns, in association with landing pages for collecting registration details
- Expense Management and Budget Development
- Propose new ideas to improve the event planning and implementation process
- Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms for goods and services
- Co-Manage vendor relationships (agencies, vendors, caterers, etc.)
About You
- Experience hosting and organizing events (in-person and virtual) in the tech industry
- Creativity and ability to generate new ideas to spur interest in and excitement at events
- Detailed oriented, multitasker and SUPER organized
- Resourceful problem-solving skills and flexibility to manage the unexpected
- Responsive and quick to react to new and urgent requests
- Tech savvy with the ability to manage virtual events and technical aspects of in-person events
- Inclusive and collaborative - driving teamwork and cross-team alignment
- Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, adaptable, unquestionable ethics and integrity
- Bachelor's degree - major in marketing or communications preferred
- Preferred Experience with B2B and knowledge of audience expectations within different segmentations such as SMB vs. Enterprise
