About the opportunity
Ontra is seeking an Event Marketing Coordinator to join our rapidly growing company. The Event Marketing Coordinator will support and execute unique field marketing programs and assist with large-scale conferences and tradeshows that aim to increase brand awareness, increase deal velocity and pipeline, and engage and delight our customers and legal network.
This role will report directly to the Global Event Marketing Manager at Ontra, and we are open to great candidates across the U.S.*
What you’ll do
- Oversee the planning and execution of demand generation events, both online and in-person, to create new deal opportunities, accelerate existing deal opportunities, and deepen our existing relationships with our customers and attorney partners.
- Collaborate with the global event marketing manager to review existing event marketing practices and propose new ideas to improve the event planning and implementation process.
- Research, negotiate contracts, and secure venues.
- Oversee venue logistics, both before and during the event (including but not limited to scheduling, use of space, conference setup, vendor management, branding, AV services, catering, etc.).
- Must be able to generate and implement new marketing initiatives to help drive successful events (ideas for boosting registration, attendees engagement, etc.).
What you’ll bring
- Experience: 2+ years of demand generation or growth marketing experience, at least 1 year of event-specific experience. B2B/ SaaS or experience with legal technology a plus
- Salesforce/Marketing Automation Experience: Basic understanding of Salesforce (Lightning) and marketing automation systems (Marketo, Pardot, Hubspot)
- Technical expertise: Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google sheets, basic WordPress skills a plus
- Detail-oriented: Attention to detail while executing event-based marketing initiatives
- Analysis: Ability to analyze and interpret metrics and data around field and event marketing performance with a basic understanding of the sales pipeline funnel.
- Creative application: The ability to think creatively and independently. Well researched with an eye for designing event experiences that are engaging and impactful
- Written Communication: Able to write at a high level across a variety of marketing materials
- Proactive mentality: Take the initiative to properly plan and manage campaigns and continuously test different data-driven approaches
- Collaborative: Ability to work cross-functionally and especially with sales/account management/legal partnerships teams
An essential responsibility for this role will be planning and attending in-person events. The successful candidate must be able to satisfy all local safety requirements for attending in-person events, including proof of vaccination where required.
