Spredfast + Lithium is seeking a smart, ambitious and motivated Event Marketing Manager. The main focus of this position is to manage events and event-related programs that promote the brand and drive demand. The Events Manager will report to the Director of Event Marketing and collaborate with the other Marketing team members.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and assist in planning and execution of Spredfast + Lithium events; including, but not limited to: Sales Kick Off (internal event), our SXSW event, our annual customer and prospect Summit; as well as sponsored events in other cities and countries
- Manage event financials, including budgets, RFPs, vendor quotes, and payments
- Research and recommend new event activations, ideas, and vendors
- Manage project timelines for internal teams, such as digital marketing and creative assets
- Manage project timelines for external partners (vendors and/or sponsors), such as onsite branding
- Oversee pre-event logistics including event staffing, speaker management, travel coordination, agendas, and on-site needs
- Develop internal and external marketing materials for events
- Develop and assist with event reporting and analysis
- Lead or assist on event-related projects as they come up
Requirements:
- You have a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications or related field.
- You have 3 - 6 years of work experience dedicated in event marketing, ideally for a technology company.
- You are maniacally focused on details, highly organized and have proven project management skills.
- You are extremely flexible and know how to adjust when scenarios change.
- You work efficiently; you are dependable and have an entrepreneurial spirit.
- You can multi-task without missing a beat.
- Your creativity can be seen in the work you've done.
- You love social media, digital marketing, and stay on top of the latest tools and trends.
- You stay on top of industry and event trends and seek out the latest and greatest event ideas.
- You have a sense of humor, positive attitude, and passion for business and entrepreneurship.
- Bonus, but not required: You've worked with Salesforce and marketing automation before (i.e. Eloqua, Marketo, Hubspot, Exact Target, Mailchimp, etc.).
