Reporting to the Director of Marketing Communications, the Event Marketing Manager plans and executes all industry and customer events. A successful event demonstrates our leadership in student success software and the higher education space. It increases awareness of our products and solutions, deepens our relationships with current customers, and builds qualified pipeline for our growing business.

Responsibilities

As our event/trade show expert, you will define and execute on both individual event and broader event program goals - working closely with the marketing, sales and customer success teams. 

Your exceptional project management skills will be invaluable as the primary point-of-contact for all industry and customer events. This includes: coordinating event logistics and activations, preparing required content/promotional materials, prepping speakers/presentations, managing budgets, etc.

Above all, your role is to ensure that all stakeholders work together to deliver a high-quality event marketing program aligned with the brand strategy and focused on customer acquisition and retention efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years marketing experience in a professional role, preferably with a focus on event marketing or event coordination 
• Proven success in executing multiple events simultaneously and leveraging both internal and external resources. 
• You are a master of logistics, have an eye for detail, work collaboratively and aren’t intimidated by deadlines
• Comfortable managing event budgets and negotiating with suppliers/show organizers
• Self-starter with a bias for action and who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving business
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing preferred
• Ability to travel for up to 30-40% of the time
