ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking driven, savvy game changers who are ready to dive into the trenches and make an immediate impact. As Group Account Director, Performance Marketing, you’ll be responsible for our performance marketing focused client relationships. You’ll establish yourself as a trusted partner to clients, and will use your expertise in performance marketing to guide them to the best solution for their business objectives. You will orchestrate advanced marketing and advertising campaigns across a portfolio of clients, leveraging your capabilities in dynamic ad creative, personalization, advanced integration of DMPs, and the adtech and martech ecosystems.

What You’ll Do:

Client Relationship

  • You will be the main W2O point of contact with the client marketing team, developing and maintaining meaningful and productive client relationships to ensure that strategic recommendations and deliverables surpass client expectations
  • Guide clients on performance marketing decisions, identifying new opportunities to increase ROI
  • Initiate on-going communication with clients to manage and align expectations, ensure staffing resources and performance expectations are met and provides ongoing strategic counsel
  • Provide proactive counsel on research findings, the external marketplace, competitive pressures and brand influences to sell agency expertise, gains consensus on creative ideas, and develops strategic initiatives

Strategy

  • Counsel executives and C-suite on digital strategy and implementation as part of the broader context of their business goals
  • Manage and set client expectations-combining the client’s needs and our capabilities toward driving the way forward
  • You should have a strong understanding of performance marketing and design strategy --
  • help their business and brand
  • Provide counsel and guidance internally and with client on overall campaign performance, guiding creative and placement optimizations, providing strong input on measurement data, and guiding the team on all reporting outputs. Must have strong knowledge of the platforms and data used to support and measure the overall performance of the campaign
  • Thoroughly understand W2O’s capabilities and demonstrates a passion for healthcare, digital and communications to help spot opportunities for the client to achieve greater success, reach a broader audience and use all the tools at their disposal

Operations

  • Manage client budgets and resourcing, budget tracking, staffing and billability
  • Inspire and leads internal teams to ensure technical and operational excellence in all executions
  • Serve as the escalation point for execution and project challenges, utilizing technical and influence skills to problem solve and keep projects on-time and on-budget
  • Partner with practice and shared service leads throughout the business to identify opportunities to streamline, elevate and innovate our tactical processes, incorporating feedback from direct reports
  • Work directly with Account and Media counterparts to develop, vet, and execute campaign scopes and ensures all team members are tracking to responsibility/budget

Who You Are:

  • Professional presence, performs with a sense of urgency and with a client service orientation
  • Independent thinker confident in taking ownership of assets and material development, but a team player who enjoys collaboration
  • Highly organized with a mindfulness of deadlines, the ability to manage multiple tasks based on priorities, a strong attention to detail and experience bringing structure to problems
  • Confidence to manage upward when required, able to communicate with managers when deadlines will not be met or when issues are foreseeable
  • High energy, able to effectively operate in fast-paced, growing and evolving environments
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic, with a track record of following through on client requests and with high-quality deliverables on schedule and on budget
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in a digital advertising/biotech/pharma
  • Mastery of dynamic creative personalization and multi-channel optimization
  • A nuanced strategist of web and app technology including but not limited to tagging, cookies, SDKs and tracking codes
  • Exceptional project management skills; demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, prioritize and manage detailed budgets
