Growth Email Marketing Specialist

As a Growth Email Marketing Specialist, you’ll be tasked with driving brand awareness and an experience that customers love. In addition to acquiring new users, you will also focus on creating content and campaigns that nurture existing leads and drive them into customers.
You'll work with a cross-functional growth team comprised of Marketing, Sales, and Product teammates to plan, test, measure, and optimize email campaigns that fuel our marketplace. You'll also partner with Customer Success teams to craft client-specific campaigns with the goal of driving new business. This roles reports to the Director of Marketing.
What you'll do
- Audit existing transactional, engagement and marketing emails
- Drive revenue by planning and launching email campaigns targeted towards our existing leads, customers and clients
- Act on opportunities to optimize the funnel, test your hypotheses, and use your learnings to inform future marketing campaigns
- Manage the end-to-end execution of email campaigns including writing briefs, drafting copy, staging and QAing emails, segmenting lists, and reporting on and analyzing results
- Partner with Customer Engagement teammates to launch and optimize retention campaigns for existing leads
- Partner with Customer Success teammates to launch and optimize retention campaigns for existing clients and customers
- Collaborate with teammates from Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product to create, prioritize, execute on, and manage an email testing roadmap
- Measure and optimize campaign impact on revenue by partnering with Sales, Operations, Business Technology, and Data Science teams
About you
- 3-5 years of experience crafting, launching, measuring, and optimizing email campaigns; 1-2 years of experience with growth marketing and experimentation
- Experience working in an early stage or growth stage software company
- Expertise with email marketing tools such as HubSpot, Marketo, Iterable
- Quick but accurate execution - you can launch complex campaigns, drip programs, and list segmentation, without errors
- Analytical mindset and ability to make decisions and demonstrate results based on data
- Can write compelling email content that drives actionHas worked cross-functionally with sales and customer success teamsKnowledgeable about SaaS products, B2B marketing, and marketplace business models
