DESCRIPTION

Waldo is looking for a Growth Hacker to increase activations, retention, and engagement with professional photographers and consumers. You will be an integral part of our overall growth plans and lead our efforts to discover new and innovative ways to drive customer acquisition.

As a Waldo Growth Hacker, you will be responsible for developing, recommending, and executing marketing strategies to grow our pro photographer network. You’ll be tasked with devising creative solutions, and bringing the analytical expertise necessary to optimize performance and drive an increase in engagement. You’ll also be responsible for building systems to track and measure our marketing performance.

In this position, you will have significant influence over Waldo’s marketing and impact on the company’s growth, so we’d love to see a track record of successfully operating in white space and devising creative solutions for growing awareness and customer acquisition of the brands you’ve worked with.

You are fluent in all means of online marketing and social media and have a track record of growing a brand’s awareness online. Experience working in a rapidly growing start-up. Strong collaboration and communication skills, and can work autonomously to deliver quality results. Love to test hypotheses and continually learn from different marketing test and optimize. You’re a creative thinker, are very resourceful and can create and execute offline growth hacks to achieve in market awareness and adoption.

Waldo Photos is a photo-finding platform empowering consumers to toss their selfie sticks, put their phones back in their pockets and live in the moment. Waldo is the only platform that removes all of the friction in getting photos of you taken by others and creates new opportunities for photographers to market and sell their photos. Users can enjoy life’s most precious events and automatically receive images taken of them right on their phones or share images of others they’ve taken without having to lift a finger – whether between friends and family or a professional photographer.


Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and evaluate both existing and potential outreach activities and strategies.
  • Develop unique value propositions, business partnerships, and social media programs that are targeted toward key customer segments.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of technology, search tools, new trends and the latest in social media innovation.
  • Applicant must have the ability to integrate social media into broader marketing campaigns, with experience in managing paid advertising on Facebook and Google.
  • Stay current with the latest technologies, trends in social media, and implement new growth strategies.
