Growth Marketing Manager

Who We Are: 

O2 is the first oxygenated natural recovery beverage with 7x the oxygen of tap water, 2.5x the electrolytes of leading sports drinks and zero artificial anything designed for everyday athletes to help them recover today and take on tomorrow. Available in 4 flavors, O2 drinkers know the great taste and recovery benefits make it a vital part of their overall training and recovery routine, and today we’re preparing to take the sports and fitness categories by storm. 

What You Will Do: 

As the Growth Marketing Manager, you are responsible for managing O2’s day-to-day customer acquisition and broader growth efforts across channels (organic and paid). You will work alongside core O2 leadership to determine growth strategies, implement them, and assess the implications on ROAS and LTV. You will manage growth via existing channels and explore new channels for expansion (both proven and unproven). 

This is a unique opportunity to come in on the ground floor and build our internal direct to consumer ecommerce capabilities. As sales and complexity grows, you will have the opportunity to grow our internal team to support achieving our digital sales goals. 


  • Build out and manage O2’s paid and organic user acquisition strategy across channels including paid social, SEO/SEM, referrals, offline digital events, online video, and influencers 
  • Manage paid marketing strategy across channels including Facebook, Instagram, and Google AdWords 
  • Monitor the performance of O2’s user acquisition mix and make recommendations on where to shift time/resources to maximize scale and efficiency 
  • Lead company-wide acquisition reporting by regularly providing cross-functional teams with actionable insights to help improve consumer and wholesaler landing page, sales funnel, and creative performance 
  • Drive rapid A/B testing and analysis to uncover data-driven growth insights that inform acquisition strategy 
  • Create acquisition-focused email drip campaigns to drive new customer acquisition, revenue, and referral 
  • Develop, refine and continually lead the charge on O2’s custom cross-channel attribution model in order to drive the most efficient media allocation possible 
  • Inform online content strategy, including distribution through social media communities, influencer networks, earned media channels (e.g. fitness publishers, magazines) through quantitative and qualitative research 
  • Work closely with O2’s other internal teams to build a cohesive and authentic brand that customers trust and love

  • Fast learner and able to figure things out quickly 
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills 
  • Able to discern when to ask for help vs. when to push forward and learn independently 
  • Data-driven decision maker 
  • Incredibly self-motivated and can operate independently 
  • Able to tweak marketing copy occasionally and contribute to a creative brainstorm 
  • Good team player and willing to do whatever it takes to drive user acquisition 
  • 2-4 years experience in marketing or growth with at least 2 years achieving results in organic growth, acquisition and/or performance objectives 
  • You’re data driven and well-versed in full-funnel acquisition; you love analyzing CPMs, CTRs and CPA, and achieving growth that is “up and to the right” 
  • Direct experience managing and optimizing SEO, social media, email marketing, online video, offline events, and paid social campaigns. Experience with content creation & distribution, social media, and other organic growth strategies strongly preferred 
  • Exposure to market research, consumer surveying and randomized experimentation 
  • Organized, adaptive, detail-oriented, curious, thoughtful, mission-driven, independent and ambitious 
  • Quantitative and analytical with careful attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Ability to think strategically and provide high-level input, but not afraid to roll up your sleeves and work quickly, in a fast-paced, collaborative environment 
  • Passion for personal fitness and wellness is a plus
