Reporting to the VP of Growth Marketing, you will be a key player in ensuring the Growth Marketing Team can execute efficiently and use our marketing technology to its full potential. The team is divided into the Lifecycle, and Growth subteams, our success is dependent on our ability to efficiently utilize technology such as marketing automation tools, CDP/CRM platforms, mobile attribution/MMPs, and data aggregation and reporting tools. You will work closely with product, engineering, and analytics on a variety of projects to implement, configure, and maintain these systems while helping the team build processes for efficient marketing execution.
What You Will Do
- Own the front-end configuration of existing and new martech platforms such as email, push, CRM, attribution, reporting, and measurement partners.
- Operate as the main subject matter expert on systems & tooling related to Growth and Lifecycle Marketing, proactively providing training, feedback, QA, and collaborating on improvements as needed with the team.
- Serve as main solutions expert to liaise between Marketing, Engineering, Analytics, and external software support teams, leading continuous efforts to enable execution of business requirements by assessing and delivering on system functionality & data needs.
- Collaborate with analytics to help develop processes and reporting to monitor key martech health metrics like email deliverability, or reporting and user profile data accuracy.
- Manage the Growth Marketing Team’s incident response process through collaboration with the larger operations team.
- Collaborate with partners in Operations, Marketing, and Product to continuously improve the overall operational efficiency of the team.
- Responsible for documentation of internal best practices, tooling, and process development for martech tools.
- Partner with Engineering and Analytics teams and stay on top of our collaborative projects like developing measurement and optimization methods for marketing channels, or CRM, reporting, and other martech vendor data implementations as examples.
- Constantly identify & execute on opportunities to increase efficiency in marketing production workflows between the design, creative, and marketing teams.
- Assist in managing the projects and front-end configurations for new marketing campaign launches.
What you Bring
- B.S. or M.S. degree and 7+ years of managing marketing operations in a fast growing startup.
- Strong MarTech tool implementation and configuration experience for tools such as marketing automation/ESPs (Braze, Iterable, Airship), template management tools, CRMs/CDPs (Segment, Tealium), MMP/attribution (Singular, Appsflyer), and tag management tools (GTM), etc.
- Strong project management skills in both process and tools (Jira, Asana, Trello, etc.) with a track record of multi-tasking and coordinating efforts across multiple stakeholders
- Able to foster positive relationships with different teams within the organization
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Have a strong understanding of how user and marketing data works - you aren’t necessarily a data engineer or analyst, but you can guide the conversation and dig into the data when necessary
