Reporting to the President and CEO, the Head of Global e-commerce will be a member of YETI’s executive team. As a highly-motivated global e-commerce leader, you understand that success is evidenced by creating the optimal blend of revenue generation, brand performance, data analytics and customer lifecycle management. A look at your day-to-day

  • Conceive, prioritize and execute YETI’s global e-commerce strategies across Demand Generation, Demand Conversion and Demand Optimization including:
    • Digital Advertising
    • Site Experience
    • Customer Lifecycle/Loyalty
    • Operations
    • Analytics
    • Marketplaces
  • Direct all YETI e-commerce channels including yeti.com, yeticustomshop.com, global sites and key 3rd party marketplaces (e.g., Amazon marketplace)
  • Drive customer acquisition and continue to rapidly grow sales through integrated marketing initiatives including performance media, site engagement and conversion, email, affinity/affiliate marketing partnerships, and social media
  • Partner closely with functional leaders in Sales, Service and Operations to ensure a holistic customer experience
  • Continue to hire, develop and mentor the YETI e-commerce and digital team
  • Evaluate existing KPIs, historical analytics, financials and strategic plans
  • Lead optimization that will drive a frictionless YETI commerce experience
  • In partnership with the Brand and Creative Directors, assess and identify new channels of customer acquisition and retention in order to bring new fans into the brand and to entangle existing customers
  • Own your numbers; develop annual budget for the e-commerce business including a full P&L and manage the business against monthly operational and financial KPIs
  • Champion measurement and optimization of consumer experience (e.g., Net Promoter Score, etc.)

Now for a little bit about you….

You are able to clearly evaluate, articulate and execute a strategic vision for the successful growth of YETI’s e-commerce business. You are both managerial and hands-on. You have strong analytical and leadership skills. Exceptional at talent identification, management and employee development skills, you have the willingness and ability to give actionable feedback when necessary. Success will rest on your ability to build, lead, coach and inspire a high performing team. You are also skilled at recognizing a need for or gap in processes and proposing and implementing an appropriate resolution.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in e-commerce, preferably with roles in marketing (including social media communication, customer lifecycle, brand, all aspects of SEM (preferably with meaningful Amazon.com experience), and SEO (including site development/optimization)), operations (including supply chain, warehousing and logistics), and merchandising (including product assortment and UX), with rapid advancement
  • Experience managing a large, service-oriented and high growth e-commerce business
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills that leverage both people and technology
  • Passion for cutting edge technologies and strategies smartly applied
  • Belief in the power of data and analytics combined with thoughtful interpretation
  • Ability to distill large, complex problems into prioritized, critical and actionable items
  • Comfort with delegation, along with the savvy to know when to get more deeply involved
  • Executive-level communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated experience with talent identification, development and team building
