We are seeking a proactive, strategic professional to work directly with MongoDB’s CMO to drive pivotal Marketing initiatives and transformation.

This person will be responsible for designing and executing strategic initiatives and operational programs in close partnership with the CMO and Marketing functional leaders across the marketing organization, and will participate in all marketing executive team meetings.

This person will work end-to-end on marketing strategy and transformation projects, drive executive communications with internal and external partners, and drive marketing strategy and planning. This role will also serve as the key partner to the CMO to run the marketing function, ensuring that all marketing priorities are driven forward with urgency. This includes reviewing, prioritizing and synthesizing metrics/initiatives to support priority setting and ensuring all the CMO’s reports are held accountable for their key deliverables and results.

Consequently, this is an outstanding opportunity as this person will have direct exposure to the Marketing executive team, help contribute to the company’s overall marketing strategy, and help drive successful execution at a high growth, B2B, SaaS company.

We are looking for a strategic problem solver, an effective influencer, with some degree of technical acumen and the ability to deeply understand our business and rapidly demonstrate impact and value to the organization. The ideal candidate has a combination of strategy and technology market experience and is able to thrive in high growth, fast-paced environments dealing with ambiguous and often complex problems.

Who you are:

• 3-6 years prior investment banking, management consulting or venture capital experience preferred
• 3+ years of tech (ideally software) experience desirable
• Strong in analytics, critical thinking, and reasoned judgment
• Excellent communicator of complex concepts and strategies in written and verbal forms
• Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, changing environment with limited data
• Demonstrates a high level of accountability married with a huge sense of urgency
• Ability to work with limited guidance and support
• Exceptionally well organized
• Low ego
• Ideally based in New York, but open to remote.
