What we’re looking for:

The Marketing Automation Manager will be responsible for executing and deploying marketing campaigns, emails, forms and landing pages using our marketing automation platform. The role requires technical skills including HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and an understanding of conditional logic. The candidate will be responsible for programming complex automation programs within the Eloqua 10 marketing automation system. They will have a firm grasp on data best practices and will be responsible for creating and updating programs to cleanse data. They will be liaison with IT on technical questions regarding integrations between Eloqua and our internal databases as well as other tools such as analytics and reporting. Additionally, he or she will be knowledgeable in email best practices and the CAN-SPAM act, help educate co-workers on the best tactics and ensure compliance of laws and regulations. This candidate will be a skilled project manager, technically savvy, and be able to define and document processes for others to follow and find new ways to create engagement and revenue with our homeowners.

What you’ll do:

  • Liaise with the marketing team to ensure successful deployment of marketing emails and campaigns using our marketing automation system (Eloqua)
  • Implement automated lead-nurturing programs to positively impact our current homeowner database
  • Establish, track and report on standard campaign metrics to optimize engagement
  • Provide feedback and content for daily, weekly and monthly operations report
  • Design and test web forms and landing pages to ensure accurate lead collection and data feedback flows
  • Design data programs
  • Analyze data trends to find new opportunities for campaigns
  • Serve as a company expert in email marketing strategies
  • Become power user of our marketing automation platform
  • Monitor inbox and respond to emails accordingly, and manage unsubscribes
  • Build engaging content to help generate more engagement, revenue and feedback from homeowners
  • Develop and maintain multivariate testing strategies to create a better understanding of the homeowner
  • Maintain data quality by following import processes and form processing steps. Monitor data periodically for cleanliness and make updates to the contact washing machine to improve data quality as needed
  • Take the lead on integrating other marketing cloud applications or tools with Eloqua and documenting the process
  • Continue to evolve the communication practices at Modernize with new ideas including SMS, chatbots, messenger apps and more.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 5 years experience in digital marketing automation
  • Minimum 2 years experience in HTML, CSS and JavaScript to support online marketing initiatives
  • Eloqua experience preferred
