Manager, Marketing Communications & Content
Job Description
The Marketing Communications & Content Manager will work with product marketing, sales, marketing team members to identify, create, and distribute content and stories that attract and engage targeted audiences. The ideal candidate will be familiar with multiple platforms (print, web, and social media) for delivering content and messages align to stages in the buyer’s journey. The ideal candidate will be a content creator as well as a manager of the brand identity and 3rd party resources to help create compelling content. They will be detail oriented, have exceptional writing and editing skills, be able to lead projects that translate complex technical information to understandable language, in engaging formats.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the brand voice and visual identity.
- Manage a team of internal and external design, writing and production resources.
- Develop and edit marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, and customer success stories, thought leadership papers, blog posts, web content, newsletters, and demand generation deliverables.
- Work with demand generation and sales to deliver high quality, prospect-focused sales enablement tools and documents.
- Support demand generation programs with content designed to increase market and revenue share
- Optimize the portfolio of sales enablement tools based on business analysis and sales feedback.
- Research, create, and edit customer success stories.
- Create a portfolio of marketing tools that support sales including presentations, collateral, competitive positioning and thought leadership content.
- Produce clear, concise, technically accurate content that adheres to prescribed style and organizational guidelines and meets critical deadlines.
- Drive editorial quality across multiple, simultaneous projects and deliverables.
- Lead cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality content.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing or advertising and 5+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have experience with marketing communications, giving design direction, business and financial communications, demand generation, and customer success stories.
