Job Category

The Modernize Team is seeking a Marketing Coordinator who will be responsible to collect, analyze, and build marketing collateral to support our brand promise to our homeowners and contractors. The Marketing Coordinator will work with stakeholders from all Modernize teams to build stories, customer testimonials, homeowner testimonials and share this information across the business. We are looking for someone who loves to dig into research, understand industry trends and loves to put together elegant stories in creative ways to share with the organization and its users.  If you love to build elegant stories and testimonials and are looking for an organization who is focused on building Modernize’s brand to become a household name, this is the role for you!  


Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain a Brand Promise Metrics Dashboard (an aggregate of the items below plus external reviews) a summary to be included in our bi-weekly email update and monthly executive operations review. 
  • Build out homeowner testimonials using a variety of creative tools and working with our graphic designers 
  • Build out contractor testimonials using a variety of creative tools and working with our graphic designers  
  • Build out marketing materials to support our brand promise to our homeowners and contractors.  
  • Continue to build out marketing materials including videos, images and assets for different mediums  
  • Collect, analyze and promote general business metrics for marketing and promotion purposes (including project inquiries per service per month, appointments set per service per month, projects completed per service per month, contractor reviews, and more) 
  • Determine, drive and build homeowner insights - driving new content assets and metrics internally to the teams for external usage/distribution 
  • Provide ad hoc reporting as needed  


Experience 

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience on a marketing team  
  • 3-4 years' experience managing content, developing creative assets for a team.  
  • Exceptional writing skills with proven ability to build content to drive interest and excitement.  
  • Creative tools to build marketing collateral is strongly preferred. This includes tools like Canva, Biteable, Vimeo, Adobe Photoshop, etc.  
  • Ability to think strategically, creatively, and opportunistically. 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize issues. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders. 
  • A quick learner with a passion to become an expert in the markets served
