We are searching for a Digital Marketing Web Analyst to join our Marketing Analytics team! We drive clarity and insight through reporting and analytics into WP Engine's digital marketing initiatives and global website properties. This role will own website tagging and data acquisition and will work closely with internal digital marketing channel owners to hone targeting and budget strategies. You will work closely with WP Engine's web development, product and marketing teams for website and targeting data collection and strategies. Digital Marketing Analyst will be highly analytical, deeply detailed, strive for consistent data accuracy across multiple systems, and effectively work across the company to drive business results.
A look at your day-to-day:

• Empower marketing channel owners (email, paid search, organic search, social, affiliate, display, retargeting) with impactful insights to drive website performance.
• A/B Testing: Identify and help structure test opportunities, and collaborate with the Finance and Website Teams to design, implement and analyze.
• Analyze key site metrics such as website traffic, conversion rate, average order value, and units per transaction. Break these metrics into defined funnel steps to develop focused targets.
• Own site data acquisition through Google Tag Manager, and set processes for campaign tracking. Work with developers to implement new tracking and ensure current tagging is consistent and accurate.
• System Owner for Google Analytics implementation including data governance, tagging, user settings/permissions, etc.
• Build out sophisticated reporting and segmentation using different visualization tools, including real-time dashboards, user-level reporting, and blending with non-GA data sources.

About you:

• You have excellent Communication, Collaboration and Presentation skills
• Strong sense of prioritization and focus on key business drivers
• You have a proven capability in e-commerce, website, marketing or digital analytics role
• Expert knowledge of Google Tag Manager, including Server Side, Google Analytics or related site metrics ecosystem (Adobe Analytics, etc)
• Advanced Excel knowledge, including nested formulas, lookups, pivot tables, flexible models, and macros
• Proficient in SQL and comfortable with querying and sanitizing data from relational databases, including Google BigQuery
• Advanced experience using Looker (or other BI tool) with LookML, table calculations, dimensions, measures, etc.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, Python, SQL, dbt, Google Cloud is a plus.
