Marketing Events Coordinator
The Role:
The Marketing Events Coordinator will support our marketing and sales teams through identifying prospective customers, promoting marketing events, and driving event attendance. You will assist with pre-event research and logistics with the goal of a seamless attendee experience at events. In addition to these responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to collaborate on projects with our growing marketing team. This role reports to our Manager, Marketing Events and is based in Austin, TX.

What you will do:
- Support marketing and sales teams in building a pipeline of prospective customers through research and identifying key contacts, both for events and the larger sales organization as needed
- Manage all event related promotion and outreach including sourcing contacts, executing event communications (including direct mailers, emails, and phone calls), tracking event attendance, and post-event follow up
- Coordinate logistics for trade shows and other AlertMedia marketing events including venue research, travel accommodations, shipping, and other support as needed
- Support the larger marketing team on various projects as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing or Business/Business Analytics, but any major will be considered so long as it’s accompanied by an aspiration to contribute to a growing, busy marketing team
- Prior internship or other experience with exposure to marketing automation and CRM applications preferred, and/or aptitude and desire to learn new software systems quickly
- Prior event marketing experience preferred
- Excellent communicator with a knack for disseminating details
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, and ability to make sound, data-driven decisions
- Detail oriented, with a strong commitment to excellent, mistake-free work
- Pro-active and solution-oriented problem solver
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment, while working across sometimes diverse teams
