Marketing Events Specialist
Summary/Objective

Iodine is seeking a candidate to join the Marketing team as an Event Marketing Specialist. This role is responsible for planning and executing all logistics, pre- and post-event promotions, and necessary follow up. The goals of each event include, but are not limited to, new lead generation, add-on and cross sale lead generation, client and partner engagement, and market awareness.
What You’ll Do
In this role you will research, build, plan, market and execute events. You are an event expert who understands and can execute on all operational components, whether events are virtual, hybrid, or in-person. You possess an operational mindset with an eye toward efficient, effective and flexible execution. You are adept at managing multiple priorities and can bring value to a small team.
Key deliverables include:
- Build and execute an annual event work plan, including budget allocation, timelines and vendor and venue partners to ensure all stakeholders are working together to deliver a high-quality experience.
- In conjunction with the Marketing Demand Generation Manager develop and execute detailed event campaign implementation plans to achieve objectives and affect results.
- Ensure pre-show lead generation campaigns are fully integrated with the website, social media and all other channels to maximize results.
- Manage post event debriefs to ensure continuous improvement to and value from each event..
- Work with graphic designers and other members of the marketing team as needed on the creation of show materials, including content, banners, and promotional materials.
- Work with internal and external resources to develop collateral that is consistent with the brand and can be used for sales support and direct marketing initiatives.
- Create, analyze and distribute data metrics and outcomes related to event campaigns and business objectives.
- Provide additional support to the marketing team by way of other marketing initiatives and special projects, administrative support, and other duties as assigned.
Job Duties

- Think strategically, but stay on top of tactical detail
- Oversee external vendors and venue relationships
What You'll Need
Minimum Requirements (Education, certifications and experience):
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or similar field
- 1-2 years’ experience managing B2B marketing events
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable using collaboration tools (Slack and Asana), CRM tools (Salesforce), and marketing automation tools (HubSpot)

- High level of creativity
- Healthcare SaaS experience preferred
