Overview:
The digital marketing intern will assist in managing Shopgate’s demand generation program across multiple channels, including email, social media, and events. He or she should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace.
What you’ll do:
- Assist with preparation, creation, and deployment of cross-channel campaigns (email, blog, social etc)
- Assist with event planning and management for tradeshows
- Copy editing / copywriting for Shopgate website and blog
- Create and publish social media content
- Analyze website and blog performance; compile metrics for channel reporting
- Work cross-functionally with partner, design, product, and customer service teams
Needs include:
- Familiarity with all social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Combination of analytical and creative thinker
- Copy editing abilities (grammar-focused and detail-oriented)
- Proficiency in Google Drive / Microsoft Office
- Project management skills including task prioritization
- Ability to manage marketing projects in a fast-paced environment
Bonus Skills:
- Experience managing paid social media campaigns (any of: Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram or Twitter)
- Experience writing content for blogs or other marketing content
- Working knowledge of Hubspot
Should currently be enrolled in a college program, preferably in a Marketing or Advertising major.
