Marketing Manager

What you’ll do when you get here:

  • Manage a team of talented and passionate Marketing Specialists
  • Strategize and execute various lead generation and brand awareness campaigns across multiple channels & analyze results to optimize for success
  • Publish content on the Shipwell website, and manage the overall web presence
  • Manage social media accounts, posting relevant content daily, and running email marketing messaging to prospects and customers
  • Manage lead generation forms and CRM functions as it related to Marketing
  • Support the sales team with presentations, 1-sheets, and other materials
  • Cross-collaboration with Account Management to coordinate customer success testimonials and case studies
  • Serve as channel partner support on behalf of Marketing
  • Orchestrate tradeshow conference attendance, sponsorships, and other events


What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience working in B2B digital marketing organizations
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ applicable experience in Marketing
  • Flexibility to proactively take on assignments and responsibilities
  • Experience managing teams and processes
  • Experience creating design assets, branded materials, and content for digital consumption and print
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) and strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter with an ability to inspire and motivate
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (we’re on WordPress), CRMs, Email Marketing, Automation (drip campaigns, form submission triggers, etc.) and Social Media
  • Project management skills to move content efficiently from ideation to production
  • Demonstrated success working on cross-functional teams


What is Preferred:

  • Strong strategic orientation, influence skills, and business savvy
  • High level of professionalism
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities

We're fully distributed, but our HQ is located downtown Austin where plenty of trendy bars, restaurants, and shops are located within walking distance
