ProjectManager.com is an award-winning project management software company, with thousands of paying customers around the World like NASA and the United Nations using our SaaS platform to manage projects. We are now seeking a full-time Outreach Specialist to further fuel our company's growth. 

Job Role

We’re a small company, but we’re growing quickly. This means that we have lots of new marketing ideas but not enough time in the day to fully promote them. We’re looking for an Outreach Specialist who can work across the entire marketing department to bring marketing projects to life.

This is an entry level / junior level position. The position will be based in our Austin, TX office and will report directly to the Content Director. This is a great opportunity for a junior marketer looking to sharpen their skills and learn from all of the experts on our marketing team. Recent graduates are welcome to apply.

This role will primarily be a mix of content marketing and outreach. 

Core Responsibilities

  • Identify websites and other opportunities to promote our content

  • Draft engaging outreach emails

  • Negotiate with companies via email and/or phone to secure promotional spots

  • Run A/B tests for emails to continually improve our email outreach approach

  • Implement and maintain an efficient email outreach system that allows you to contact people at scale

  • Work with the Marketing team to promote our content to others, and to get our content shared

Technical Skills

  • 0 – 3 years’ experience in digital marketing, with demonstrated success

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • An infectious writing style that makes people take notice

  • The ability to run large scale campaigns and deal with a high volume of emails

  • Experience with maintaining large amounts of data

  • The ability to track campaigns from start to finish

  • Email testing experience a plus

Interpersonal Skills

  • Highly intelligent, a quick learner and fantastic at multi-tasking

  • Willing to pick up the phone to close a deal

  • Able to quickly differentiate a promising opportunity from a dead end

  • Able to keep the big picture in mind when working on the little things

  • Data driven and analytical, with excellent problem solving skills

  • Self-motivated and managing, extremely positive by nature

  • Excellent time management, attention to detail and follow-up

  • Committed, loyal, trust-worthy and a great team player

  • Honest, upfront and helpful at all times
