What we’re looking for:

Modernize is looking for a Marketing Associate focused on Paid Search to support the Marketing team in acquiring quality homeowner leads through Google Adwords, Microsoft Bing, and Yahoo Gemini Search. This role is a great opportunity to get first hand experience with digital marketing and paid search. The ideal candidate will have a background in writing and data analysis (Excel) with a desire to establish a career in digital marketing.

• Develop a strong understanding of digital marketing with a focus in paid search.

• Write and test compelling ad copy in Google Adwords, determine winners and sync changes to Bing and Yahoo.

• Learn to take ownership of existing campaigns and help grow them to exceed revenue and profit targets.

• Conduct weekly performance reviews with your manager to discuss strategies and opportunities

• Help troubleshoot fluctuations in conversion rate, CTR, quality score, etc.

• Continually seek growth opportunities through testing, experimentation, and data analysis

• Identify and suggest ways to make team workflows and processes more efficient

What You Will Need:

• 1 years experience in digital marketing, bonus points for Adwords experience

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables and vlookups).

• Candidates with strong academic, extracurricular accomplishments preferred

• Experience with copywriting strongly preferred

• Desire to establish a career in digital marketing

• Working knowledge of website analytics and business intelligence tools (Qlikview, Google Analytics).

• Bachelor’s degree is required. Major/minor in Math, Statistics, Marketing, Web Technologies or related field is preferred.
