Partner Marketing Specialist
BigCommerce, named a 2017 "Best Place to Work" in Austin is looking for a full-time Partner Marketing Specialist to create and drive marketing execution across BigCommerce’s partners. The ideal candidate is an energetic partner marketer and team player who effectively executes acquisition campaigns.
What you’ll do
- Work with cross-functional teams like Sales to identify, evaluate and recruit new agency partners to grow existing in-house partner program
- Develop, monitor and report on demand gen and lead gen campaigns for agency acquisition
- Research, monitor and report on competitors’ partner campaigns and promotions in close collaboration with Product Marketing
- Proactively approach and activate idle partner leads
- Conduct webinars and demos in support of demand gen
- Closely collaborate with the Digital team on all paid digital acquisition channels, such as Paid Search (PPC) and Programmatic Display (Retargeting, Lead Generation)
- Contribute to digital marketing programmatic strategy
- Lead digital marketing campaigns, with a focus on Direct Response
- Chase down deliverables to ensure effective and timely campaigns
- Develop scalable marketing assets and campaigns
- Work closely with Partner Operations to provide operational excellence in forecasting, measuring and improving productivity, utilization, scaling initiatives, etc.
- Share your point of view on all partner marketing engagement, leveraging a solid understanding of the partner and BC’s business and value propositions, marketing best practices, and overall marketing acumen
- Research and recommend tasks, features, and/or tools to automate and/or improve partner campaign processes
- Manage, maintain and update partner landing page, application and/or microsite
Who you are
- 2+ years of marketing experience, ideally in software or technology partner marketing. Familiarity with eCommerce a HUGE plus and agency experience preferred.
- Previous experience executing marketing campaigns and delivering effective communication that gets results is strongly preferred
- An understanding of nurture streams/programs preferred
- Savvy and proven success with integrated marketing programs preferred
- Technologically savvy - You have strong Internet, email, and electronic document management skills and, ideally, have experience with systems like SFDC, Periscope, Marketo, JIRA and Confluence
- Master Communicator - Excellent written/verbal communication and customer relationship skills are critical as you’ll work across all levels of the business. You must have demonstrated success working cross-functionally, outstanding program management skills, and the ability to forge strong bonds and work collaboratively with key external and internal partners across Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Sales
- Organized Planner- You can marshal the resources you need to get things done, simultaneously manage multiple priorities and/or projects, and deliver key milestones on time. Your have strong attention to detail, accurately scope out the length and difficulty of tasks and projects, anticipate and adjust for problems and roadblocks, and easily development and maintain schedules
- Adaptable - Flexible and efficient with the ability to manage multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to the changing need of the business
- Learning Mindset - You are curious about details, comfortable asking questions to gain understanding, are an ambitious learner, and able to pick up on technical things quickly, and are adept at staying ahead of the curve on relevant industry, company, product, or technical knowledge
